A California Christmas

We're on the countdown to Christmas; only five more days! How are you doing? Our houseful of family begins tonight with the arrival of our daughter and her family. Wednesday, our older son and his family arrives, and Thursday, our younger son and his wife get here. All together, it's going to be 10 extra people in a two-bedroom home! There will be wall-to-wall kids and grandkids, and I am going to REVEL in it. It's been about 7 years since we've had all three of our children home for Christmas at the same time. It might be another 7 years before it happens again, so I feel very blessed.
In light of the busy-ness around the corner, I am so happy that I got this new kit finished. I wanted to make something with a Christmas theme, but without the snow, mittens, and frost that are in so many Christmas kits. Please don't hate me, but we live here in Southern California, where too many Christmases to count, I have photos of us in shorts with the doors and windows open. (Although, this year looks like it will be rather chilly and damp!)
The kit has 9 papers, 2 frames, 2 tags, 3 wordart clusters, 1 tree, 1 ribbon cluster, 4 glittery ricrac pieces, and 1 round paper clip, all for $2.99. You can get it in my shop at Faith Sisters.

And, I have a new Facebook page, with a grand total of 5 lovely followers. To encourage you all to head over there and "like" me, I'll have a drawing for a $5.00 coupon to my shop when my followers reach 20. So, your odds are really good: a one-in-twenty chance of winning! There's a button to click on the side bar.

And, here's a little something for you for stopping by today:

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, with joy and thankfulness for the Gift and the Good Giver.

New Products, a Speed Scrap, and a Freebie

We are well in to December; how are you doing with your Christmas preparations? I hope you aren't so overwhelmed with things to do that you miss out on the joy. I've been so guilty of that in the past. This year has been a bit easier, because I'm still on furlough from my day job, and we drew names for gifts for the first time. I didn't think I'd like doing that, but it sure has eased the pressure...
If you have a bit of free time next Tuesday, I'm hosting a speed scrap at Faith Sisters. I haven't decided on the the time yet, but when all the plans are finalized, I'll post it here. I hope you consider joining me!
I've got a few new items in my store, starting with a new template pack up in the shop at Faith Sisters:
You can find the template pack here.

And, I have a new Christmas word art collection:
You can find Words of Christmas here.

And, a little freebie for you; a Christmas card, if like me, you still haven't made/sent/thought of them yet!

Thanks for stopping by, and if you like the card, please leave a little comment.I'm sorry, but this link has expired.

The Perfect Song

My, oh my... December already! I've been listening to Christmas carols; have you? I have by far more Christmas albums than any other genre on my iPod. We have much to sing about, don't we? A great Savior who inspires such beauty, ours is a God like no other.
At Faith Sisters this month, the Sweet Song Challenge is simply "The Perfect Song." The designers were asked to make a kit based on a color swatch, but we were free to choose our favorite Christmas carol for the inspiration. It was difficult to decide (see above!), but I finally choose "In the Bleak Midwinter," as I so appreciate both the words and the lovely melody.
So, here's the kit, available in my Faith Sisters shop.
The kit has 4 background papers, 4 wordart clusters, 2 frames, 1 tag, 1 snowflake cluster, and 1 holly leaf. It's available for $2.49.
I also made a little freebie for you all, of course.

Thanks for stopping by!
